The Reserve Collection · Breckenridge, Colorado

Independence Townhomes.

The last new address in the heart of Breckenridge — sixteen residences a short walk from the BreckConnect Gondola and a shorter one to Main Street. When the doors open, Gilson holds the keys and the guest experience. Join the waitlist for the first booking window.

The Setting

Some of the most desirable ski-access real estate in North America.

Downtown Breckenridge doesn’t build many new addresses. It builds almost none this close to the gondola. Independence is the last one it will build.

Set on the final in-town parcel large enough to hold a private enclave, Independence occupies the narrow ribbon of ground where two Breckenridges meet: the ski town on the mountain side and the 19th-century mining town on the Blue River side. From one door you can reach both — clip in at the BreckConnect Gondola for Peaks 7 and 8, or wander down to Main Street for a coffee, a bourbon flight, or a first-tracks breakfast with your ski boots still on.

The residences are three- and four-bedroom townhomes — sixteen in total — sharing the amenity village of Grand Colorado on Peak 8: outdoor aquatics under a Colorado sky, a full spa, a fitness center, a lobby bar, and a private theater. Everything a guest could want on-property, and everything Breckenridge is famous for a short walk beyond it.

The Residences

A private enclave of sixteen, at the foot of Peak 8.

Independence is built as a resort within a town — sixteen townhomes stitched into the amenity block that Breckenridge’s ownership circle already knows. As rentals, they behave like private residences and stay like private clubs.

To the Gondola in ski boots

The BreckConnect Gondola sits a short block away. Boots on at the front door, skis in the mudroom, first chair before the coffee’s cold — no shuttle, no parking hunt, no keys required.

To Main Street on foot

Breakfast at Blue Moose, a distillery tour up the block, a chef’s tasting after last chair, a nightcap under the string lights — the full Main Street ledger unfolds within a five-minute walk of the door.

The village amenity block

Outdoor aquatics under Colorado sky, a full spa, ice skating, fitness, a lobby bar, and a private theater — the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 amenity village, shared with each Independence residence and prepped for your guests before they arrive.

Three or four bedrooms

Every residence sleeps a full family or two couples with room to breathe — three or four bedrooms, primary suites with mountain-facing windows, chef’s kitchens, and living rooms sized for the après hour, not the airline seat.

A Day at Independence

First chair to last light.

The residence sits between the mountain and Main Street on purpose. Here is what a Wednesday looks like when the ski is one door and the town is the other.

7:40 AM

Boots on at the door

Coffee’s hot on the counter, gear’s waiting in the ski room — pre-fitted by the concierge the day before. You walk out in ski boots, cross the block, and clip into the gondola before the corduroy is cut.

11:15 AM

Second breakfast on Main

Cocoa, cinnamon rolls, and a fireplace. Or a bloody mary flight and eggs Benedict. Independence puts you three blocks off the mountain and three blocks off every table in town — decide it at the bottom of the run.

2:30 PM

Slopeside soak, private spa

Outdoor pool at 9,600 feet, hot tubs steaming into the pines, a treatment room in the Grand Colorado spa. Guests walk over from the residence in a robe — no lobby, no wait list.

5:00 PM

Après on the terrace

The Gilson concierge has set the terrace: a chef’s board, local pours, wool blankets, a fire in the pit. The Blue River runs a block off; the sun drops behind Peak 10. This is the hour the residence was built for.

7:30 PM

Chef in-residence, or a walk to town

Some nights a private chef takes over the kitchen and cooks a five-course that never leaves the house. Some nights it’s a stroll under the string lights to your table at Modis. Both are ten minutes from where you’re standing.

10:00 PM

Private theater or nightcap

The Grand Colorado’s private theater downstairs, or the lobby bar for one more bourbon. Boots dry in the mudroom, first chair reset for tomorrow. Nothing to book, nothing to drive, nothing left undone.

The Location, Mapped

One block to the gondola. Five to Main.

Independence sits at the pinch point where downtown Breckenridge becomes ski hill. Here is how it lays out on the ground.
